Walking Dolls

Meet Rea and Lea. They are my daughters' walking dolls.

Lea came for MC when she was around 3 years old. She was supposed to be her bed mate. Lea was a reward for her because she was starting to get used to sleeping in her own bed, although her papa or I, would still need to bring her to bed. We thought she would be inspired to sleep alone if she's got a Lea with her. We were wrong! We are still unsuccessfully 'training' her to sleep alone.

Rea arrived on Christmas Day that same year for IC. Of course, we dont want to be accused of favoritism right? We want to avoid fights. So we decided to get her her own walking doll.

Anyway, we are talking about a walking doll, right? So she must walk, right? Wrong! The instruction was that she would walk when you take her by the hand. I tried, my husband tried. Nothing, both dolls just glided. Think, think. Maybe we are too tall for the dolls. We asked the kids to do it -- hmm, nothing. Just the gliding again. Or the dragging. Should we bring them back?

Decided not to, the kids are already attached to them - their standing dolls. At least, the dolls talks!
