This is one thing that I wish we didnt buy. Through the usual channel, online shopping, we got the Barbie Playhouse as a 5th birthday gift to MC. The photo looks good but the end product was a bit disappointing - made with brittle plastic and not too stable. Assembling the small parts take time, esp since they almost didnt fit right in, sakit ng ulo!
We cant give it back, as we only got to assemble the house the night before MC's birthday last December. Nowhere can we get a decent gift, plus, it is something she wished for.
Here in photos - you can see the Barbie Playhouse. The last photo was taken the night before her birthday last December 2006. And the first photo was taken today, June 24. A lot of parts missing - either already broken or misplaced or simply removed -- the kids not interested to play with it anymore.
I wouldnt play with it, too. The house wiggles and some parts wont even stay in place. Every time the kids would play with it or move the Barbie furnitures, parts would break or would simply give away. You would always need to repair them or arrange them again and again. So frustrating.
It is just another space eater in MC's room, so we are planning on donating it to the kindergarten. Real soon. I just hope the kids wont change their minds.
Barbie Playhouse, definitely not recommended.
