Deutschland's meat shop, like this, is a shop that always makes me wonder -- I mean, how can they create such variety of sausages? There are really a lot. My husband doesnt even know the names, cannot even differentiate them -- aside from the obvious and the popular ones, of course. My rule is: taste them first. You can actually ask to have a piece to taste, no problem there. As for the kids, all the kids, they always get a piece of sausage; everytime they visit a meat shop. And this is true all over Deutschland.
